GXM Drivers Club Track Day Terms & Conditions

Participation in this Track Day is entirely at the participant’s own risk. Each attendee is responsible for their own safety and for ensuring that any vehicle they bring is safe, suitable, and maintained to an acceptable standard.


1. Pit Lane & Garage Rules

  • All signage and instructions displayed in or around garages must be observed.

  • The fire access lane behind the garages must remain clear at all times.

  • The pit lane operates one-way, clockwise only.

  • Maximum pit lane speed is 30 mph.

  • The area between the yellow line and pit wall must remain unobstructed for emergency access.

  • Only participants involved in the active track session are allowed in the pit lane.

  • Sitting on the pit wall is not permitted.

  • Refuelling in the pit lane is prohibited.

  • Fuel cannot be stored in garages or the pit lane.

  • Smoking is not permitted in garages or the pit lane.

  • Children under 16 may not enter garages, the pit lane, or the circuit.


2. Venue Rules

  • The venue speed limit is 20 mph.

  • Anyone driving dangerously, aggressively, or without due care may be removed from the venue.

  • Paddock bikes, scooters, and any unlicensed motorised vehicles are not allowed.

  • It is each driver’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle meets the published sound limits, which are available on the event page.

  • Vehicles that fail the sound test will not be permitted to take part and no refund will be issued.


3. On-Track Behaviour & Driving Standards

  • When joining the circuit, remain on the right-hand side until the track behind is clear.

  • Use initial laps to warm tyres and familiarise yourself with the track, grip levels, and marshal posts.

Overtaking Rules

  • Overtaking must always be carried out on the LEFT and only on straights.

  • Do not pressure other drivers into corners.

  • Any behaviour that forces or intimidates another driver will be addressed under our Yellow Card System.

  • Check mirrors frequently; if faster vehicles approach, move right to allow them to pass on the left.

  • Leave ample space when overtaking or being overtaken.

Dangerous Driving, Tyre Noise & Drifting

  • Unnecessary tyre squeal, drifting, or conduct considered unsafe may result in warnings or removal from the track.

Incidents & Flags

  • If involved in an incident, exit the vehicle when safe and wait behind the barriers.

  • Do not stop for incidents involving others; marshals will manage the situation.

  • Ignoring red flags or marshal instructions will result in removal from the event.

  • Any vehicle involved in an incident must be checked by staff before returning to the circuit.

Cameras, Timing & Vehicle Types

  • Handheld cameras are not permitted. In-car cameras must be securely mounted and approved by staff.

  • Timing devices, lap timers, and any competitive measurement tools are prohibited.

  • If you are using a Garmin Catalyst device, the display must be switched off during track sessions.


4. Vehicle Restrictions & Race Team Policy

  • Single-seater vehicles, including formula cars, Caterhams, Atoms, and similar lightweight sports cars, are not permitted.

  • Vehicles entered by professional or semi-professional race teams for testing are not allowed.

  • Staff reserve the right to refuse entry to any vehicle that does not comply.


5. Safety Requirements

  • Helmets must meet current MSA/FIA/ACU/FIM standards.

  • Helmets must be worn and properly fastened in the pit lane and on track.

  • Vehicles must be fitted with functioning seat belts or harnesses.

  • Arms and legs must be fully covered while on the circuit.

  • Any concerns regarding another participant’s driving should be reported to staff immediately.


6. Medical

  • A medical response vehicle with a paramedic may enter the circuit at any time.

  • The medical car has priority and may overtake as required. Drivers must safely move to the right to allow it through.


7. Yellow Card System (Driving Standards Enforcement)

  • A Yellow Card may be issued for poor driving standards, unsafe behaviour, ignoring instructions, or actions that place others at risk.

  • Receiving two Yellow Cards during the event will result in removal from the remainder of the day.

  • Removal after two Yellow Cards is immediate and without refund.

  • In situations deemed severe or dangerous, staff may remove a participant without issuing a prior Yellow Card.


8. Tuition Availability

  • Tuition is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

  • Booking a track day does not guarantee a tuition slot.


9. Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event may receive a refund (minus a 15% fee) or full credit.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable and non-creditable.

  • Bookings made using discount codes or promotional offers are non-refundable and non-creditable at all times.

  • Bookings made through third parties are also non-refundable and non-creditable.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.

  • Events may be amended or cancelled; no refunds will be issued in these circumstances, though we will aim to give reasonable notice.

  • Weather-related changes or cancellations do not qualify for refunds.

  • We are not liable for accommodation, travel, or other costs resulting from event changes.

  • Credits may be issued as a goodwill gesture at our discretion.

  • Event pricing may change without prior notice.

  • A confirmation email serves as proof that your booking is accepted.


9a. Sold-Out Event Cancellations & Transfer Policy

  • If the event is sold out and you need to cancel your booking, we cannot offer a refund.

  • You may transfer your booking to another participant with our involvement.

  • We must receive the full name and email address of the replacement participant prior to the event.

  • The replacement participant must complete the mandatory electronic waiver before being allowed to participate.


10. Mandatory Digital Waiver

  • All participants must sign our electronic waiver before taking part in any on-track activity.

  • Failure to complete the waiver will result in refusal of participation, with no refund provided.

  • The waiver must be completed by every driver and passenger before entering the pit lane or circuit.


11. Circuit Damage Liability

  • Any participant who crashes and causes damage to the circuit, barriers, garages, or other infrastructure will be liable for the full cost of repair or replacement.

  • By participating, you accept responsibility for any such costs and agree that GXM Drivers Club Limited is not liable for any damage caused by your vehicle.

  • The organisers reserve the right to invoice the participant directly for all costs incurred.


12. Privacy Policy

  • Your email address is stored solely for essential event communications, including joining instructions and links to event media.

  • We do not share your information with third parties.

  • If you opt into our mailing list, your contact details will be used only for updates regarding future events.


13. Indemnity & Liability

  • Participation in GXM Drivers Club Track Days is entirely at your own risk.

  • GXM Drivers Club Limited, its staff, instructors, or any affiliated parties are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to yourself, your passengers, your vehicle, or any property at the venue.

  • You are solely responsible for:

    • Any damage caused to your vehicle

    • Any damage caused to the circuit, barriers, garages, or other infrastructure

    • Any injury or harm to yourself or any passengers

  • We strongly recommend that you obtain dedicated track day insurance to cover personal injury, vehicle damage, and third-party liability.

  • By participating, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all risks associated with track activity, including vehicle performance, driving standards, and the behaviour of other participants.

  • Signing our electronic waiver is a mandatory requirement before taking part and forms part of this indemnity.
